Hi everyone,
Here's the thing... I have OBS with 3, soon 4 Black Magic DeckLink recorder with cameras behind. The 3 main cameras are dedicated to american football games, each shooting a specific area. We have a physical scoreboard on the side of the field. Unfortunately, it's not linked to the computer that runs OBS, nor is it related to anything but the remote control :(
I aiming at using a fourth camera to get the scorebord. But i don't want to be "as is", which would be quite ugly. I'd like the scoreboard to be OCR'ed so i can have the text with the font and positioning i want...
The first thing is to have an efficient OCR. Tesseract seems to be great, but works on JPG or, with a little work on a video. But in my case, the video won't be shown... So i don't know how to do it properly... Do i have to run another OBS instance just to have the OCR running ? Can I have only one instance of OBS with an OCR (whatever the product, as long as it works, and that it doesn't cost me an kidney... open source would be ideal ! )
Hope I'm understandable. Feel free to ask and tell me what would be best for me to achieve this goal... The season doesn't restart before January 26, so I have time to experiment, test...
Best regards ;)
